Q) What is the difference between Medisoft Patient Accounting, Advanced Patient Accounting and Network Professional?
A) Both Medisoft Patient Accounting and Advanced Patient Accounting are single user and Medisoft Network Professional is for Network environment. Please refer to the metrix sheet for complete feature comparison. Please refer to the metrix comparison sheet to see all the features.

Q) What is the system requirement for the medisoft software?
A) System Requirements for Medisoft Patient Accounting & Medisoft Advanced Patient Accounting:

Q) Can I send electronic claims with the Medisoft software?
A) You can send electronic claims with all three Medisoft products. However, you need to sign up with a clearing house or buy the electronic direct modules.

Q) Do we get any FREE phone support when we buy the software?
A) Yes, with any Network Professional 3 User License and up you get a 30 Days limited phone support. Also, we do offer FREE Class training for one year unlimited attendance and unlimited staff from one physician office location when you purchase any of our software products.

Q) Does your company install the software at no charge when we buy the software?
A) There are different charges for installation depending on which Medisoft product you own. With any Network Professional 3 user and up, you get 30 days phone support which can help you with the installation process. Installation phone support requires a certified computer engineer or similar degree and experience at the installation site.

Q) How often Medisoft upgrades the software product?
A) Medisoft may release a new version every year. You are not obligated to upgrade every year unless the features benefit your office production and/or needed to process your billing.

Q) I am a Medisoft user and I need to know the upgrade price for my Medisoft?
A) Please complete the upgrade option section.

Q) Can I export my data to excel or other programs?
A) Yes, medisoft uses Advantage Data Base and it is a open database which you may use the ODBC tools to export your data to any program that support common formats.

Q) Can your support help us with exporting data files?
A) No, our support services will not support exporting data since the process is more advanced.

Q) Does Medisoft work with Windows Vista operating system?
A) MEDISOFT VERSION 12, Version 14 and MICROSOFT VISTA
Medisoft Version 14 and Medisoft Version 12 Service Pack 2 are Vista compatible. However, you must have a Vista Business edition. Medisoft Version 12, as well as earlier versions, do not currently function with the Microsoft Windows Vista operating system. Therefore, we cannot make any guarantee of, or warranty the stability or functionality of, any version of Medisoft used in conjunction with Microsoft Windows Vista. We will be conducting compatibility testing and will provide updates as they become available.
